the fort greene flea market, my favorite saturday morning activity besides the farmer's market. the flea market takes place in fort greene every saturday from 10-5. you can also find it in DUMBO on sundays from 11-6. it's oh so amazing, and some things are really cheap. i wanted to buy the ying-yang couch, but alas, our apartment is too small. they also have delicious food. my faves include the Mexican corn with some horchata and the oven baked pizza. they also have papusas, tacos, asiadog (andrew's favorite), coffee vendors, cheese vendors, pastry vendors and desserts (cupcakes, cannolis...). oh yeah, they also have this shaved pork leg, but i like to stay away from that because it creeps me out.
